I'm Marv (Finarvyn on most of the boards) and I started playing OD&D in '75. Played some wargames and Chainmail prior to that. Played a lot of TSR stuff in the 70's -- Metamorphosis Alpha, Boot Hill, EPT, that kind of thing. Played some Amber Diceless in the 80's and 90's. Playtested Castles & Crusades, DCC RPG, Amazing Adventures 5E, and some other games in the last few decades. Currently play a lot of 5E with my wife, kids, sister, and some close friends. I'm the DM around 98% of the time.

I'm Vile or Vile Traveller on most boards and I started playing B/X in '83, RQ and Traveller in '84, and Holmes in '10. Currently not playing anything but writing a lot. Hopefully I'll even publish some of it when I retire in a few months.

Hi guys,
I started with AD&D in 1983 as a player and eventually gave DMing a go and have done that some of the time. I played off and on, here and there as family and work consumed most of my time. I bought the 3E books and a year or so later sold them. Only recently have I really started to look at anything much besides AD&D. I'm hearing things, like OD&D, Holmes, B/X and other things and not having a clue what they really are. So I am really interested in learning more.
I got here through your links over at odd74. I am completely unfamiliar with your games and wanted to take a look and see what they are about.
