Someone has offered me the 2009 hardback copies of S&S and MM.
How different are they from the current edition, especially with a view to thieves?

Sorry, things have been a bit crazy lately--few people posting on the forums, but I'm trying to change that!
The 2009 hardback copies should be identical in content to the current edition. The key thing to check is if the thieves in the 2009 versions you're being offered, use %-based thief skills. If they do that version is outdated. If they use a 2d6 system for thief skills, they are the same as the current version of the game.
