Background Skills

A major nit, but for the background skills & random number generated by 3d6, are there a lot of Historians & Astronomers running around the land? ;-)

Seems like skills such as Farmer should be more in the sweet spot (9-12)....

A valid point--I could justify it by saying that the chart is designed for player characters, who definitely aren't your typical peasants.

But the truth is, I just converted it from using d10's, and that's the way the list fell . Still, the justification works (Historian and Astronomer are definitely two far more useful backgrounds for PCs--and are backgrounds that would lead someone to the adventuring life).
