One thing to keep in mind is that CafePress is much kinder to Canadians for shipping.
Also, I want a magnet! The Spellcraft & Swordplay magnet! That I would buy for sure. You can open a free store, and if no one buys anything, you've lost some time - and if people buy things, you make a little extra cash and spread the good word!
I'd buy a Tile Coaster too. Heck maybe even a pillow. They're products are of great quality. I love CafePress!

What was hidden? I'll have to find out why...... finarvyn, could you contact me on that forum and give me some idea what may have previously been hidden? There have been a lot of recent changes as the forum grows; new Q&A threads (John Phythyon, Allan Grohe, Martin Dougherty), Abstract Nova forum, etc... I still urge Jason to post his products in the Classifieds & Advertising section as they come out! As well the Rejuvenated Old-Guard RPGs is a good place to review and expand on what S&S has to offer!

Am I missing the link somewhere that allows me to simply view any posts since my last visit? It's like that sock I can't find. Did the dryer eat it, or did I put it somewhere and forget?

I'm primarily interested in S&S support, but I also pick up pretty much any reasonable OSRIC product. S&W is okay too. I have little interest in LL although Mutant Future adventures would be cool. Getting into Fight On! and Knockspell is a good idea too.
So basically if you dual-stat for OSRIC it would be of benefit for me. The rest won't make me buy or not buy.

Thank you. It sure isn't easy. Especially when it isn't really a niche forum I think. Worse if anyone comes who pushes new people away. Most of my problem is that my closest friends whom I hang and game with, don't use the Internet - so I can't count on them helping. It's a Lone Ranger thing without Tonto. We'll see how it goes. I imagine enduring is important and overcoming obstacles. It takes awhile for a new forum to really get the word out.

The fan forum has been moved. It has also had it's subject matter expanded upon. It's intent is still to focus more on S&S.

Is the Lulu distribution package too far out of sight? Purchasing from Amazon (if they put things through amazon.ca) would alleviate the crappy Lulu shipping practices. Of course some think that's why they're screwing people on shipping. Then again, I've run into U.S. companies that don't even realize how cheap UPS can be.

This is the official place for S&S, but there is now a fledgling fan forum. I hope you'll keep an eye on it when time permits. I expect it to grow at a slow pace, but who knows. K

Lulu is on crack. Yeah, they think Canada is overseas for the USA. I can't reason paying over $100 shipping just to be able to track an order when they could just use UPS for a fifth or less of the price. Even their NOT-RECOMMENDED Economy option is a joke. They're either raking in cash for shipping or getting screwed by their shipper. USPS would also be much cheaper, and what's ironic is that USPS often just uses Purolator but for a fraction of the cost of Purolator. So Lulu is a write off for me, but Cafepress is thus far very reasonable. There are other PODs too, but Cafepress gives you the cool ability to make merchandise for no investment. I am of course excited for all your irons in the fire K

I hope you'll open a Cafepress store or something similar to offer us S&S merchandise. I'd also love to see the core rulebook there as shipping costs are so much cheaper for me from cafepress than the utterly insane Lulu that I've had to write off until they change shipping handlers. Hiring someone to travel to their printer and pick up the product is cheaper than their shipping.
Cafepress has been really good to me as a consumer.
I hope it's something you will consider. I'd love to have a S&S magnet.

Well, I guess for now, it's just easier to type up my own. It's a great game. Good luck.

The biggest thing I want to see is a player creation folio type thing with Book 1 and table 1-3 from Book 2 only and a blank character sheet or two. I would buy at least half a dozen of these and replace my softcover of the full rules with a hardcover - giving away the softcover to a needy gamer I think a Folio like this would be a great boon. I have no need to pass around a book to the players with everything else, and I would be happy to have a bunch of extra Folio's so the player's could take them home too. Maybe you're looking at this from too complicated a point of view. Could it not be as simple as above? The 3 books is something you can still do later. We only bump and comment because we care. K
